LOVEFiLM claims a stock of 67,000 titles for DVD rental, many - but not all -of which can be streamed online.

For the online service films must be streamed via a computer or directly to devices which include web-enabled Samsung TVs, Sony BRAVIA range of TVs, Blu-Ray disc players or Sony home cinema systems. Movies and games can also be streamed to PlayStation®3

Films cannot be downloaded and viewed offline.

Some movies are free to download, and so are film trailers and TV shows. Most films are £2.99 to download for 24-hour viewing, £9.99 - £13 to buy.

A catalogue of several thousand movies, including classics, is available for sale, download or rental. Many TV programmes can also be downloaded for free. Blinkbox also provides a social network facility. MS Digital Rights Management is used, which limits the computer equipment which can be employed.

Movies and TV progammes can be downloaded to laptop, Playstation 3 or Xbox and streamed to the TV.
